You also get protein and potassium as well as Calcium which contribute to the build up of your body.
The second tip is to limit the empty calories. This would include the foods that you find in the boxes and plastic wraps. Fast foods are also to be limited. Food items like cookies and cupcakes that you buy in the store may taste good, but they provide little to no nutritional value.
The third tip is to drink a healthy amount of water. You do not want to drink too much and you definitely do not want to drink too little. Drinking too much water will result in water intoxication which can lead to death. The other extreme is dehydration which can cause a lot of problems for the body. Also, limit the intake of sodas. This includes diet sodas. Diet sodas may actually be worse for you than regular soda due to an ingredient called aspartame. This has been linked to a lot of health problems for those who consume diet products. Soda in and of itself is bad for you and should be limited if not avoided.
The fourth tip is to get plenty of exercise. You must keep yourself active. A sedentary lifestyle can contribute to illnesses. Exercise causes the body to create endorphins. Endorphins are hormones that cause the person to have a greater sense of well being. Your mood is lifted and your stress levels are lower.
Lastly, get adequate sleep. It is recommended that a person gets between 6 to 8 hours of sleep everyday so that he can function at his best. These five tips are very helpful to your living and health. If you can follow these tips, you will not only prevent most illnesses, but you can also live abundantly.
